T-shirts are unisex construction, 100% premium combed and ring-spun cotton, tear-away label, produced by Los Angeles based Bella+Canvas company. Sizes include S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. See sizing and fitting chart for specs. Please note that there are “Proud Rochester” or “Proud United States” with either “Family of Veteran” or “Veteran” screenprinted on them. Please purchase accordingly.
Pick-Up or Delivery Options
Pick-Up (FREE)
We encourage local pick-up from our local partner: Golden Supply Co., located at 210 South Avenue, Suite 120, Rochester, NY 14604. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pick-up. T-shirts will be located at their retail storefront, please ask a store associate for assistance. Please have your digital receipt available at pick-up. Please note that Golden Supply is currently open Monday - Saturdays, 12noon - 6pm.
Delivery (Flat-Rate $10)
There is a flat-rate fee of $10 per order (i.e., can include multiple items in one order) to ship USPS Ground Advantage to all 50 states, U.S. military bases, territories, possessions, and Freely Associated States.
Refunds and Exchanges
No refunds will be issued, however, exchanges are allowed within 45-days of pick-up date or shipment arrival date. Please email president@rocwashingtonsquare.org if you would like to start an exchange.
Fulfillment
If the particular shirt and size you are looking for is out of stock, you can opt-in to a waitlist without being charged for the shirt(s), and we will notify you when they are back in stock. We will keep you updated so you will not miss your chance to participate in the raffles if you choose to do so. We will fulfill orders ASAP, but please allow up to 30 days.
About Washington Square Community Association (WSCA):
Washington Square Community Association is a leading, local non-profit, 501c(3) community organization based around one of our city’s first local squares in downtown Rochester, NY. Our mission is to embrace diversity by involving all portions of the community, build partnerships amongst the various community leaders, promote the community through public relation events and activities, and improve the quality of the community environment through ongoing cleanup and beautification projects.
Our downtown neighborhood has a longstanding history of honoring local veterans for their service and sacrifice to our country dating all the way back to 1892 when the Soldiers and Sailors monument was erected in the Washington Square. This monument serves to highlight those veterans who served in the Civil War in all four branches of the United States military, and today still stands to remind us that ALL of our Vets serve a central role protecting our freedom and liberties here in America.
A Personal Word From WSCA president, Jason Schwingle:
This t-shirt project is one way the WSCA and my family would like to honor our vets and their families for their service and sacrifice to our great country. The WSCA will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Honor Flight Rochester, a non-profit organization that serves veterans and their families.
Honor Flight: While the WSCA and this project are not formally affiliated with the Honor Flight Rochester (HFR) organization, my dad and I were honored to be invited as part of Rochester Honor Flight Mission #69 back in October of 2019. If you don’t know what Honor Flight is, in short, it’s an incredibly generous program that flies Veterans FREE of charge - and their guardians to Washington, DC to visit and reflect together at their memorials.
